Haul post :)

Hey :)!
This time I didn't want to let too much time pass until my next post; so, even though I haven't got any outfits to show you guys, I thought I might share some new purchases before the next Harajuku Fashion Walk :D
First of all, I want to show you the items I'm going to wear there. Among which, my lovely Marie Antoinette Portraits jsk by Krad Lanrete, which I've been waiting for for like six months and which finally arrived at my house!

It's so, so beautiful, you should see how it fits, I *love* it! For some reason all the pics in this post came out pretty yellowish, but it's actually pastel blue.
Together with the dress came these two super cute rings:

And I'm going to wear it with these other two recent purchases I bought from a friend.
The first one is a cardi by H. Naoto. It fits so perfectly I couldn't believe how lucky I was, getting it secondhand at a ridiculous price and looking so good in it XD (if I get to say this myself XD)

And then there's this pretty wig, which I bought from the same friend. It's perfect because it's also so Jessica Day, so I can wear it even outside lolita. But it's perfect for lolita either because it has full bangs and locks :D

These are all items I'm going to wear at the next HFW in Venice <3 but I don't want to completely spoil my outfit for you guys XD so, onto the proper haul :D

Yesterday morning my mother and I went downtown to "buy some face cream and hand cream" for me, since I've always refused to put on any on my skin and well, you can see the results, my skin kind of sucks. Especially since I live in Milan and the amount of smog, humidity and dirt I receive on a daily basis has significantly increased. So I thought I might start using some protection.
Somehow, we ended up buying me these two super expensive creams:

A Chanel fragrance and a Lancome make-up remover for my mom, and then two more super-expensive products for me: eye-liner and mascara.

Then we got out of that perfume shop, and headed straight to Terranova, where I found a really nice denim jacket. Who doesn't own a denim jacket, now that the 90s are so aggressively back? I want to buy *so* many a-line colourful dresses to match it with!

And my mother bought herself a pair of leggings and a t-shirt.
We got out of that shop too and I saw it.
It.
THE bag.
The bag I've been waiting for my whole life.

I just. I can't. I don't. I've LOST MY ABILITY TO CAN.
I'd actually already eyed an almost identical bag, by the same TwinSet line, but I didn't really like the background colour (I was looking for white, beige or cream, and that one was kind of rose), and I was so sad because it had the perfect shade and the perfect combination of classy and romantic.
And then I found out there were other colours and, well. I love dots to death.
I literally saw it on a window, pointed it out and screamed:
"That one! Mum! THAT BAG is the one! It's the bag I've been looking for all this time!"

You know, there's this thing about me that if something does not COMPLETELY convince me in every single little detail, I'm not going to buy it. It might be something apparently meaningless, and my mom's always like "come on, you look good, what's wrong with that poor jacket" but it's pointless to even try. I'm not going to buy it.
BUT. When I see something that really, REALLY convinces me, there's no way to stop me from having it. You can see it right away because my eyes widen, my mouth opens and my voice trembles.
I don't waste my money on stuff I don't completely like, but I'm more than ready to spend any amount of money on the stuff I really do like.

Also, since my mother was in a good mood, she decided to also buy me the matching wallet.

I have to say I actually needed a bag and a wallet; the one I bring to university is shredded and my wallet is so little I'm surprised it hasn't exploded yet - it was about time I bought something that wasn't falling into pieces, for the weekends and stuff.

Then, on the way home, we saw a very cute shop with the loveliest dress on its window. My mother suggested we got in and I tried that dress on; she found a pair of pants and a t-shirt, and I found one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever had <3

I've never had such an elegant dress. I'll only be able to wear it in the summer since it has a cross back, but a friend of mine reassured me by telling me she's going to graduate in July, so I'm going to have the perfect occasion (actually there's my birthday too, but there I'm going to wear something more edgy :D).

By the way, this beauty's causing me a lot of pain! I've been meaning to wear it at my travel to Strasbourg in a few weeks but then I reminded why I've never worn anything blue: it's impossible to match!
What colours go with that shade of blue ;_;? I thought white, dark red and maybe mustard, but I'm not sure. I'd like to wear it with a cardigan, tights and heels, but I really don't know how to match colours and besides I don't own anything in the shades aforementioned. Can you help me? I really, REALLY need advice, so maybe I can buy something before I leave!

And since all that wasn't enough XD on the afternoon I went downtown again and bought more stuff: a black eyeshadow by Urban Decay, a lipstick and a make-up remover by Sephora.

And finally a few accessories I bought a couple weeks ago: super colourful bracelet (right from the Nineties!) and very classic black earrings, to wear with stuff that is black but not goth XD.

As you can see, it's not like I'm standing there idle hands when I'm not posting XD!
I hope you liked my purchases <3 and I hope you're going to like my next outfit, awww, I can't wait to post it *_*!
Have a nice Sunday <3!

New outfit, new purchase & skirt for sale :D!

Aww yeah!

This outfit was for a friend's birthday. I wasn't feeling creative that day and I went for something very simple.
You know, I bought that sweater at Zara like, at least four years ago and I've never had the chance to sport it since. That's because it's quite short and I didn't have any a-line skirts or clothes at the time. Now that I do, I couldn't resist finally wearing it and I was quite satisfied with the result - although this outfit doesn't look very special in this pic... I promise those clothes fitted me better than it shows XD!
By the way, that night ended very badly, with me walking out of the indian restaurant praying I wouldn't puke on the sidewalk :'D who knows what was in the food that made me feel sick... D:

<3 My new purse!
I've been looking for a bag that could match my classic loli outfits all summer, and couldn't find one. I was finally ready to buy one on Etsy, with all the shipment cost and the custom of doom, WHEN I spotted this thing at the mall. It only came at €20. I bought it right away.
It's perfect because it isn't too sweet and it has brown parts, so that it can match pastels, but it doesn't get TOO matchy, plus brown adds a touch of elegance to practically anything, since it's neutral.

And then there's the skirt I'm selling :D I thought some of you might be interested; it's really a beautiful skirt, but I never got the chance to use it, since it's very elegant. SOLD

This is the "Joanna skirt" by Spin Doctor. It costs like 60€ in shops, let alone the shipment costs; I'm selling it at €30, and I've only worn it once.

This is how it looks on me. It's an M size, if I remember well, but it's perfectly fine for an S size too.
Let me know if you're interested ;) also, if you're in the mood for buying stuff, I still have all these clothes waiting to find a new home :) (click!).

Thank you for reading and have a nice week :D!

My 25th birthday ^^

Uhm, I'm a bit late... like, almost 20 days late... XD but my boyfriend handed me the pictures just the other day D:
And next time I swear I'll post the pics of the Muse concert X'D

Well, let's start with my outfit :D

I finally got the chance to wear that dress! (And those gloves, but mostly the dress)
Sadly, it's not that flattering on me. I mean, the top part of the dress is an actual corset with boning and everything, so it kind of flattens my chest XD
But since it's so pretty, I don't mind. I kind of like the outfit I pulled out; but I'd like to wear that dress in some other way than with the usual fishnets&platform shoes. Do you have any suggestions :/?

And these are the presents I got.

Let's see them all in detail :D

The bag was from a coworker of my dad. She was such a doll; she brought me to a shop and told me to pick a bag. I chose this one 'cause I needed something to go with sweet and classic lolita outfits, and coloured clothes in general. It's cute, isn't it?

That figure over there is KAWORU <3
He's a character from Neon Genesis Evangelion (well, actually, this one's from the Rebuild of NGE). I already had two Medicom Real Action Heroes figures of Evangelion; I've been eyeing this one at the comic shop for (I'm not kidding) THREE FUCKING YEARS. Three years of me looking at it drooling and mumbling "one day you'll be mine, one day I swear I'll have the money and you'll finally be mine". In fact, the only reason why I hadn't bought it yet was that it is EXTREMELY expensive. I'd already spent pretty much the same amount of money on Rei and Asuka, and I'd done it gladly, but would not spend so much money for him, even though I wanted it so badly.
But my boyfriend knew how much I longed for it, so, together with my friends and his family, he managed to buy it.
When I opened the package, basing on the shape of the box and on its colour, I knew what it was even before I actually saw it. Then I started screaming.

And since my boyfriend wasn't satisfied with that huge present he had made me... he also bought me a book he knew I wanted because he had heard me saying that at a bookshop. He remembered that. Plus he bought me books!! No one ever buys me books (except for him :D) even though people know I'm quite the bookworm. I guess that's because I talk about clothes and figures more than I do about books but that's just because very few of my friends enjoy literature, so I just keep the topics shallow. I'm so lucky my boyfriend knows me so well <3
(Oh! It's Vanity Fair by Thackeray by the way :D)

My boyfriend also made me this birthday card; it's meant to represent my own throne XD while the various stuff represent him and my friends. He made them with magnets so that I could move them around the drawing XD that was so incredibly sweet.
I'm so grateful to have such a thoughtful and loving boyfriend, and not only because he buys me great presents. Anyone can buy you expensive stuff, but it isn't necessarily stuff that you like. You can tell who really cares about you when you realize that they've been listening to every single thing you've said and that they've kept it in mind in order to make you happy. This really means a lot.

And lastly...
I really don't know what to say here; talking about people who take note of what you say and remember that and then make you amazing surprises.
While it's kind of normal coming from your boyfriend and/or close friends and/or parents, I would never, ever had expected this from someone who has never even seen me face to face.
I'm talking about Caitlin and her unbelievable kindness. I don't even remember where I said I wanted Cupid, maybe in some comments many entries ago. And I don't know if this was meant to get to me on my birthday, but it did, and if it was, it would be even more surprising to me because that would mean that she remembered that one year ago I mentioned when my birthday was.
I mean: there's a super sweet girl who lives on the other side of the world who cared about my tastes and wishes more that the majority of the people I see on a daily basis.
How awesome is that, when people surprise you in such a good way? It warms your heart, doesn't it? As for me, it really made my day.
So, Caitlin, if you haven't read my email yet, let me thank you so much for what you did. More than the doll itself (which I truly wanted, and immensely liked!), what really moved me was your thoughtfulness, and your generosity. I hope I can get in touch with you soon ;)!

Oh, and also, my relatives gave me money and my parents decided to pay for most of the expenses due to me scratching the side of my car D: which was all their fault by the way 'cause they are the ones who decided to destroy our gate and build a new one that's even narrower, I'd never scratched my car before so that means that it's EXTREMELY difficult to get through our new gate, everyone says so -.- but oh well, enough complaining; in the end I was lucky they agreed to pay for most of it as a birthday present X°D.

Have a nice Sunday ;D and thank you for reading!

Color pop-up palette & comic convention haul

This month I missed the Monthly Theme Post, but I really didn't have the time to think of a good outfit.
So this time I'll go for a make-up post.
Actually I just wanted to show you guys my new palette - my first palette! :D
Lately I've found myself more and more interested in make-up. Recently I've been watching a tv show that I like very much; it's run by a girl who used to live in my same region and, after becoming Youtube famous with her tutorials, moved to New York to study as a make-up artist. Now she has this very interesting tv show, which got me interested in make-up.
I thought that if I wanted to achieve her same results I needed to buy at least the basics, so the first thing I did was buying some good brushes, a primer and a couple eyeshadows (that's right, I've never used that before, I just used eye-liner and mascara). I bought white, red and black, because I thought they were the best for a goth make-up; but that was just the eyes, and by the way I needed to try some non-goth make-ups as well. Also, I had absolutely no idea which were the right colours for my skin and my lips, so I decided to buy a palette, so that I could experiment as much as I wanted, without spending 10 or 20 € at the time for each single product.
I bought this one (right-click and open in new tab for better resolution)

It's quite tiny when it's closed, but when you open it it becomes very large.

Isn't it beautiful? It has everything I might need: 64 eyeshadows, 12 eyeliners, 6 top coats for eyeshadows, 6 top coats for glosses, 48 glosses, 3 blushes, 6 primers for eyes/cheeks/lips, 3 lighteners and 3 brushes.
The only thing I still needed was foundation, so saturday I went looking for one. I ended up buying a BB cream, of which I'll talk when I'll have time to take pictures of it on my skin :D

And now, the comic convention haul :D
This time it was a really small convention, I didn't think I would have found such pretty things. Instead, there were pretty good cosplayers and I found some amazing stuff:

I've been looking for a Lannister girls t-shirt for AGES. Damn Jaime, it's your fault I could never find a t-shirt of your house.

This bag <3 I'd been eyeing it on goth websites for a while. Now it's mine *_*

These are Sana Kurata and Akito Hayama from Kodomo no Omocha, and this is my favourite illustration of those two. I couldn't have been luckier.

Miwako and Arashi from Paradise Kiss. There were even earrings with Yukari and Joji (and a lovely Marie Antoinette necklace <3) but they were quite expensive, so I only bought these two couples.

Has any of you bought a palette from Sephora, or any other palette? What do you think is better, to buy a palette or to buy single items? I'm sure you're all more experienced than me for as regards make-up XD!

Wishlist

All the new collections are out, I've taken a look around and now I know exactly which are my targets for this year :D.

Last time I used a watch I was in middle school. That's because I've never found one that appealed to me. This one is gorgeous, plus it matches my Alchemy single earring.

This one above is my favourite. I've already told my parents that this will be my wedding dress.

(The skirt)

Of course I won't buy everything. Some of these clothes are very expensive (especially my dream wedding dress!); besides, some of them are in the UK, and the pound-euro exchange rate is unfavourable. On the other hand, buying from the USA means custom fees, which in Italy are downright insane.
At any rate, I'll just go for *one* gown skirt, I just have to decide which one. And the minidresses can wait until spring.
Right now, to be honest, what I need is a blouse or a long-sleeve shirt because I'm going to a comic convention at November 3th and I can't just wear my Mollflander, I'd freeze.

(Speaking of which, I bought it yesterday <3 I just hope it's the right size.)
I'd like to wear it with a long-sleeved, shoulders- revealing shirt. Which I don't have. I've taken a look on several online shops, but I can't find my right match.
Have you got any suggestions? What could I pair with this amazing dress? If possible, something that keeps me a little bit warm XD?

The Professor's Monthly Homework Assignment

This is the first time I participate to the Monthly Homework Assignment :) this time it's about purses and bags!
I do not have many of them because I usually buy one per year, until that one gets trashed. My last one... well, it had a pretty disgusting end: a pigeon pooped all over it while I was at the beach. I was lucky that some days before the attack I had made an order for a gorgeous Demonia bag:

This was the picture in the catalogue. And here it is on my shoulder:

That is a Peppa Pig a friend of my boyfriend got me on a catch machine :D which I used as a chihuahua.

Another picture of the bag where you can see my outfit :) I was next to the sea.

And here it is, lying on the books I have to read for my dissertation.
I'm thinking of buying another one because I don't want this one to get damaged; I'm only going to use it in the weekends, while the other bag will be used on everyday life, like at work.
I'm very selective about bags, so I think I'll have a really hard time finding another one that I like in its every single detail, but since I swore that after the New Rock boots I won't buy anything until the end of the month, this isn't an issue right now :D
