Lolita photoshoot & Real life update :) (spoiler alert: moving abroad…!)

Hey there :)!

As I had figured, I didn't have much time to post outfits this summer. My internship took a good part of my time, and the other half I spent looking for a home… 'cause I'm moving again :) and this time I'm going abroad.

From September 15th, I'll be living in Strasbourg :).

I'm going to end my bachelor degree there, and I'm staying until the end of May. I probably won't have much time to update my blog, because of the homework (yes, translation students have actual homework), my internship at Expo 2015 and my new subtitling job.
Also, since in Strasbourg it's very very cold, I won't be able to put on nice dresses - and even if I was, I don't have space to make them fit in my luggage, so I guess I won't post much.

But you probably won't even tell the difference xD
Well, here's my latest photoset by the way :) it was taken on a lakeside, among the woods.

[I finally got to wear my new wig :D! But I really didn't look good in bangs D:]

[All together! The second and the last girl from our left handmade their dresses. Aren't they gorgeous?]

[My jewelry :D all stuff that I bought recently on sale at a ridiculous price <3]

Classic lolita is definitely growing on me. The dress is new too - I'd been longing for it for ages, when I finally found it secondhand in my size… I couldn't believe my luck <3

Sadly there are not many pics of me because the place was full of mosquitos, also it was hot as hell and I really didn't feel like posing for hours D: I hope you like my outfit anyway, and those of the other girls as well <3

Have a nice weekend you all ;*!

Lolita outfits and events

Hey there :)!
I'm back - for the moment :D.
You know, one of the reasons why I haven't posted my outfits is that photographers never handed me the pictures they took of me. I stg that gets on my nerves to no end. What's the point of even taking them, if you don't plan to ever upload them anywhere ever, or you know - to just give them to the model, which may want to share them with her friends *_*?
Gah, I'd better not even start ranting about that. I'll just show you the few pics some friends took.

So; the first outfit was meant to be a twin concept with my friend Beatrice.
I'm only posting a couple pics because the other ones were practically identical to these ones XD.
The idea was "a gothic-spooky-circus-lolita twin".

Guys, the looks we got by passersby XD.
We were at a lolita event which had Fiore Manni as a guest. Fiore is an italian lolita who hosts a lovely tv show on which she teaches little girls how to express themselves through clothing. She presents it in full lolita outfits. If you'd like to know more about it, just look for "Camilla Store": she's very talented, her outfits are always stunning and I think it's a great show for children!
I took a picture with her :) (I had put on a blouse because it had become a little chill outside :D)

And then there's that time me, Beatrice and Deborah we went to visit a Klimmt exhibition in full lolita.

I'm the one on the left, in total pink XD. But I have to say I wasn't very glad of how that outfit turned out.

And lastly, my friends Beatrice and Nicole's birthday! We went to eat at a japanese restaurant - everything was sooo yummy - and then took pics. A lot of pics. I'm only posting the ones featuring me :D

[This is me, for the record. The one in the blue dress]

[I didn't know how many of them were willing to have their faces shown on my blog, so I censored all of them except for Beatrice who doesn't give a fuck <3]

[The idea was looking melancholic and full of mal du siècle but Beatrice told me I looked exactly like the blonde woman in this painting]

[The old lady on the right <3]

[Nicole and I did a little bit of shopping! I found the perfect bracelet I've always been looking for *_*]

[And this is the print of my lovely Marie Antoinette jsk. Finally, I got to sport it *_*!]

[And my accessories! The rose ring and the crystal ring came with the dress - they were a gift from the shop. I love the second one <3]

I've waited so much time to show you these clothes! Like my new H. Naoto bolero I bought secondhand from a friend. Recently I bought a very lolitable Liz Lisa dress from the same friend I can't wait to show to you guys. Maybe I can wear it at the next Harajuku Fashion Walk next month <3

I hope you liked my outfits and that they were worth the waiting XD!
Have a nice week, my darlings :*!

Still alive

My darlings,
I don't know how many of you are still following my blog (or even remember who I am :P). For those of you who are, I just really want to apologize for not updating and not commenting on your lovely blogs.
Thing is, I've been caught up with university and exams, and most of all with an internship that came as a great job opportunity for me - I'm doing translations for the web megazine of the Universal Exposition that is going to take place in Milan next year, and if everything goes according to plans I might be able to translate the Expo website as well. There is a lot of work and very little time - it's stressful, and sometimes frustrating because I'm translating into a language that isn't my own mothertongue, but it gives me no end of satisfaction. Also, it keeps me busy, which is exactly what I need right now - taking my mind off things.
Actually, the main reason why I'm not updating is that lately I've been through kind of a rough period and I'm not really in the mood for talking about clothes. I can do that when I'm out with friends and I kind of have to talk to them about something that isn't my troubles, but it's not like I feel like doing it. Luckily, running a blog is not something I "have to" do - although I'd like to keep in touch with you guys more.
And I guess that's it - I'm really not good at talking about my feelings or problems in public, so I'm going to cut it short. I sincerely hope I'll be in a better place soon so that I can come back and start following your blogs again. I've really missed you.
You guys have a wonderful summer; I hope everything is going fine for you :)!

Haul post :)

Hey :)!
This time I didn't want to let too much time pass until my next post; so, even though I haven't got any outfits to show you guys, I thought I might share some new purchases before the next Harajuku Fashion Walk :D
First of all, I want to show you the items I'm going to wear there. Among which, my lovely Marie Antoinette Portraits jsk by Krad Lanrete, which I've been waiting for for like six months and which finally arrived at my house!

It's so, so beautiful, you should see how it fits, I *love* it! For some reason all the pics in this post came out pretty yellowish, but it's actually pastel blue.
Together with the dress came these two super cute rings:

And I'm going to wear it with these other two recent purchases I bought from a friend.
The first one is a cardi by H. Naoto. It fits so perfectly I couldn't believe how lucky I was, getting it secondhand at a ridiculous price and looking so good in it XD (if I get to say this myself XD)

And then there's this pretty wig, which I bought from the same friend. It's perfect because it's also so Jessica Day, so I can wear it even outside lolita. But it's perfect for lolita either because it has full bangs and locks :D

These are all items I'm going to wear at the next HFW in Venice <3 but I don't want to completely spoil my outfit for you guys XD so, onto the proper haul :D

Yesterday morning my mother and I went downtown to "buy some face cream and hand cream" for me, since I've always refused to put on any on my skin and well, you can see the results, my skin kind of sucks. Especially since I live in Milan and the amount of smog, humidity and dirt I receive on a daily basis has significantly increased. So I thought I might start using some protection.
Somehow, we ended up buying me these two super expensive creams:

A Chanel fragrance and a Lancome make-up remover for my mom, and then two more super-expensive products for me: eye-liner and mascara.

Then we got out of that perfume shop, and headed straight to Terranova, where I found a really nice denim jacket. Who doesn't own a denim jacket, now that the 90s are so aggressively back? I want to buy *so* many a-line colourful dresses to match it with!

And my mother bought herself a pair of leggings and a t-shirt.
We got out of that shop too and I saw it.
THE bag.
The bag I've been waiting for my whole life.

I just. I can't. I don't. I've LOST MY ABILITY TO CAN.
I'd actually already eyed an almost identical bag, by the same TwinSet line, but I didn't really like the background colour (I was looking for white, beige or cream, and that one was kind of rose), and I was so sad because it had the perfect shade and the perfect combination of classy and romantic.
And then I found out there were other colours and, well. I love dots to death.
I literally saw it on a window, pointed it out and screamed:
"That one! Mum! THAT BAG is the one! It's the bag I've been looking for all this time!"

You know, there's this thing about me that if something does not COMPLETELY convince me in every single little detail, I'm not going to buy it. It might be something apparently meaningless, and my mom's always like "come on, you look good, what's wrong with that poor jacket" but it's pointless to even try. I'm not going to buy it.
BUT. When I see something that really, REALLY convinces me, there's no way to stop me from having it. You can see it right away because my eyes widen, my mouth opens and my voice trembles.
I don't waste my money on stuff I don't completely like, but I'm more than ready to spend any amount of money on the stuff I really do like.

Also, since my mother was in a good mood, she decided to also buy me the matching wallet.

I have to say I actually needed a bag and a wallet; the one I bring to university is shredded and my wallet is so little I'm surprised it hasn't exploded yet - it was about time I bought something that wasn't falling into pieces, for the weekends and stuff.

Then, on the way home, we saw a very cute shop with the loveliest dress on its window. My mother suggested we got in and I tried that dress on; she found a pair of pants and a t-shirt, and I found one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever had <3

I've never had such an elegant dress. I'll only be able to wear it in the summer since it has a cross back, but a friend of mine reassured me by telling me she's going to graduate in July, so I'm going to have the perfect occasion (actually there's my birthday too, but there I'm going to wear something more edgy :D).

By the way, this beauty's causing me a lot of pain! I've been meaning to wear it at my travel to Strasbourg in a few weeks but then I reminded why I've never worn anything blue: it's impossible to match!
What colours go with that shade of blue ;_;? I thought white, dark red and maybe mustard, but I'm not sure. I'd like to wear it with a cardigan, tights and heels, but I really don't know how to match colours and besides I don't own anything in the shades aforementioned. Can you help me? I really, REALLY need advice, so maybe I can buy something before I leave!

And since all that wasn't enough XD on the afternoon I went downtown again and bought more stuff: a black eyeshadow by Urban Decay, a lipstick and a make-up remover by Sephora.

And finally a few accessories I bought a couple weeks ago: super colourful bracelet (right from the Nineties!) and very classic black earrings, to wear with stuff that is black but not goth XD.

As you can see, it's not like I'm standing there idle hands when I'm not posting XD!
I hope you liked my purchases <3 and I hope you're going to like my next outfit, awww, I can't wait to post it *_*!
Have a nice Sunday <3!

Classic Lolita photoset

Yesterday me and a friend (and a friend of hers) decided to match our outfits and to make a photoset of it :D. I happened to have her very same floral dress - since she was the one who sold it to me - and we tried to make a twin out of this.
Unfortunately, the light wasn't the best, but I still think the pics came out quite nice! <3
Let me know if you liked it ;D

[Yes, we were eating delicious macarons <3]

[This one is my facebook profile pic now. Taken absolutely randomly a moment before I started screaming because the frickin' branch was filled with ants!]

[I love this pic where we are both laughing XD]

[The kuro lolita in the middle is the one who took the pictures of me and my friend. She was so good! And her outfit was pretty amazing <3.]

This was my first twin, my first photoset and my first full classic lolita outfit. I like how it came out, and I can't wait for the next Harajuku Fashion Walk! I might be able to sport something even prettier by then… but that's a surprise <3!
Thank you for reading and have a nice Sunday! :*

Selling stuff again! :D

My darlings :D
As I told you last time, my style is evolving, which means that I need:
-more space in my wardrobe;
-more money to buy new stuff XD.
Which lead me to selling some of the newest and most beautiful pieces of my collection :D I still love them very much, but I'm also aware that it's not fair to their awesomeness to just let them hung there in my wardrobe. They deserve better. Maybe there's someone out there who can give them all the love that they need!

These are the new things I'm selling. Please note that the vast majority of my clothes have only been worn once (I usually sell stuff because I realize I don't use it, so it's practically new). If you need further details, measurement or worn pictures, feel free to ask!

1. Alcatraz corseted longsleeve top

Worn once; bought at €30, I'm selling it at €15 + shipment.

2. Alcatraz corseted top with lace sleeves

Worn maybe twice. Bought at €50, selling it at €25 + shipment.

3. H&R red and black lace corseted minidress

Worn once. Bought at €60, selling it at €40 + shipment.

4. Garcja damask dress

Worn once. Bought at €30, selling it at €15 + shipment.

5. Red flocked Hell Bunny minidress
Worn once.
Bought at €30, selling it at €20 + shipment.

And there's also other stuff I'm selling HERE, if any of you's interested :D!
I'm really sad about parting ways with these items, which are definitely among my favourite ones, but maybe they're meant to be happier with someone else. ;-;

Have a nice weekend ;*!
