Harajuku Fashion Walk

So, uhm, since the photographer is not going to give me my full photoshoot any time soon X°D, I'll just post the pictures I have - which are just random pics someone took during the walk XD.

I decided to pull out an ero-loli outfit not only because quite few people know and wear ero loli, but also because it was HOT AS HELL outside and I knew I wouldn't have been able to keep on tights or knee-high socks, or, worse, a blouse!, all day. This is the same reason why I didn't wear a wig, even though I had one with me. Actually, it was so hot that I got a sunburn on my shoulders.
It had never happened to me before, to get a sunburn while I was walking, but I hadn't taken into account the fact that Venice is near the sea. Or better: it is an island, so it was like I'd been on the beach without my sunscreen. That sunburn took me almost three weeks to heal X°D

You can right-click on the pics and open them in a new tab for a better resolution :D

This is all of us together. We were quite a few, huh?
Someone brought a child <3 can you see that little blonde girl dressed in white, in the middle? She was so adorable. I mean literally; when she had to go home, she came to each one of us, she hugged us and gave us a kiss on the cheek. So sweet <3!

These are close-ups on me, which doesn't really make sense to post since you can't see my face - which is pretty much the point of a close-up XD but you can see my dress and my accessories, which are the most interesting things about me XD
I don't know why my hair looks reddish, I guess that's because the photographer played around with saturation and lights. You can see its real colour in the pictures below :D

This is Beatrice, who came in a country/classic outfit. They asked us to pose together because of the contrast between our outfits :D
Later on we exchanged clothes and she gave me a gorgeous pink classic dress; I have to wear it at least once before summer's over... but I don't have proper shoes for classic >_<!

The girl sitting below is the photographer <3

And these are pictures of the lolitas in the event! There was only five of us (there was a girl with a casual lolita outfit, but she isn't in this pic; you can see her in the first picture, she's next to us). I was very surprised, since in Italy the most well-known japanese alternative style is lolita. But luckily, we had quite a lot of diversity :D!

All in all, not everyone was wearing a japanese style, but oh well, it was nice to spend a day with a lot of alternatives who liked manga and anime and fashion just like I do. I can't wait for the next Harajuku Fashion Walk :)!
Has any of you ever been to one? :D

  1. As far as I -as a non-Lolita- understand Ero-loli, you did it perfectly. A little sexy, but covered up. And I love the lace gloves! ^^

    1. Thank you so much <3!
Well, yes, ero-loli is supposed to follow the rules of lolita but it also allows you to uncover a little skin, so you can show your shoulders, or have a shorter skirt, or wear fishnet hosiery :) I was very careful in not exaggerating and staying lolita with a little exposed skin XD!

  2. Your outfit is beautiful! So nice to meet other alternative people. I have never heard of that kind of event and when I googled it with sweden, I came up to nothing.

    1. Really? I thought people did that all around the world :O!
Well, you know what? You can organize the first one :)! All you have to is to set a time and a place for the event, and then you just walk XD we did nothing special after the walk, we just sat in a park and had lunch, took pictures and chatted :)

  4. I know many people who thinks Ero-loli is toooo much and not a "real lolita style" but I think it's one of the prettiest and you look amazing in it :D

They have lolita meets here in sweden sometimes and I have been thinking of going someday, but since I don't dress lolita everyday like the other girls in the meetings do I'm scared I will feel lonely :P

    1. Yeah, well, they're not entirely wrong, since ero-loli breaks some of the fundamental rules of lolita, but if you're in an ero-loli attire you should be careful to break just one or two; I mean, you must show you're wearing a lolita outfit, just with a few changes.
And by the way if ero-loli is not acceptable, why is punk-lolita perfectly fine?

Oh, I wouldn't worry if I were you, I don't think any of the girls I met there wore lolita on a daily basis, except maybe for one who by the way goes kind of casual when it's not the weekends. I myself am not a lolita, it's just something I wear from time to time :) and nobody gave me a third degree or looked down on me, so ;)

    1. Or you could go ero-loli just like I did XD! It keeps you quite fresh :D
I could never thank you enough for selling me that dress, it is so beautiful and I've worn it several times during this summer, and it got lots of compliments <3
